Digital fashion brand Another-1, together with Swappable, is changing the game with NTR1-Meta. Have you ever dreamed about an NFT sneaker that you can wear in both the real world and the metaverse? Well, this project is making that dream a reality.
Meet NTR1-Meta: the exclusive Italian handmade pair of shoes, wearable in the real world, the metaverse, and tradeable as NFTs.
Another-1 and Swappable joined forces with 23 industry leaders to create the world’s first Italian ‘phygital’ sneakers. The one-of-a-kind project enables NFT holders to wear their NFT in the metaverse. Alternatively, they can redeem the token in favour of a pair of handmade sneakers.
Each pair of sneakers will be expertly designed and made in Italy by art director and designer Lucio Vanotti and the AN1 team. Notably, the NTR1-Meta NFT collection will be the first Italian handmade phygital sneaker drop. What’s more – NFT holders can wear them in both Decentraland as well as Sandbox!
The concept behind NTR1-Meta sneakers
The changing nature of chameleons inspired the NTR1-Meta sneakers. The AN1 compared chameleons to the human ability to change in the face of adversity. Therefore, these sneakers are for those who choose to embrace new technology; in particular Web3 and the NFT space.

The masterminds behind the NTR1-Meta sneakers
Another-1 (AN1) worked hand in hand with Swappable to launch this innovative project. Led by notable art director and designer Lucio Vanotti, AN1 is a Web3 platform that wants to change the game. It allows users to build, trade and showcase Hype Fashion Goods.
On the other hand, Swappable is part of the crypto ecosystem TrustSwap. Swappable is unique in that it allows any Web3 wallet user to create, buy, sell, or trade any ERC721 or ERC1155 token. In addition, it allows trustless Peer-To-Peer (P2P) swaps of any ERC20 token. Swappable is working with 23 additional partner companies to ensure the long-term success of the drop.
Drop details
Another-1 and Swappable will drop the NFT collectible on the Ethereum blockchain on February 24, 13: 00 UTC on the official NTR1-Meta website. Only 5000 NTR1-Meta sneaker NFTs will be available at 0.09 ETH. NFT owners can then request the physical pairs through gamified windows of redemption. Upon receiving the physical sneakers, the NFT will be burnt.
Swappable is hosting an event in Decetraland’s famous Crypto Valley at 3 PM UTC on February 22nd to launch NTR1-Meta sneakers. Furthermore, you access their whitelist presale on the 23rd by joining the projects’ Discord server.
